TunnelTunnel · Website and Android app

Delete your TunnelTunnel account

Request deletion of your account and associated data here, even if you cannot sign in or have uninstalled the app.

Request deletion by email

Email [email protected] with the subject “TunnelTunnel account deletion”. Include the email address associated with your account. Send from that address if you still have access to it.

Open deletion request email

This opens your email app; you still need to send the message. If no email app opens, copy the address and subject into your usual email service. Visiting this page does not submit a request.

Account ownership may need to be verified before deletion. If you no longer have access to your account email, explain that in your request so support can help with verification. Do not send your password, recovery phrase, encryption keys or payment-card details.

Delete from the app instead

If you can sign in, open Settings, choose Delete account and follow the confirmation steps. This is an alternative to sending an email, not a requirement for making a request.

Save anything you need first: deletion removes access to your saved history. If the app reports an error, deletion has not been confirmed; retry or contact support rather than assuming it succeeded.

Subscriptions and billing

Google Play: deleting your TunnelTunnel account or uninstalling the app does not currently cancel your Google Play subscription. To stop renewal, open Google Play subscriptions, select TunnelTunnel and cancel the subscription. Check that you are using the Google account that purchased it. You can also follow Google’s cancellation instructions.

Web/Stripe: the in-app deletion flow attempts to cancel your Stripe subscription and requires confirmation before removing your account. An email request does not automatically cancel billing. Mention any active subscription in your request, and contact support if you cannot cancel or verify its status.

Data covered by account deletion

The primary account-deletion flow removes:

  • Your account profile, sign-in records and stored encrypted key material.
  • Saved conversations, messages, summaries and associated attachments.
  • Account-linked usage records, experiment assignments and local subscription records.
  • Account-linked AI-response reports, including explanations and any selected response excerpts.

Removing primary account records is not a promise of immediate erasure from every backup, log or external service. Copies in backups, operational logs, and records held by payment and other service providers require separate handling.

Timing, retained records and request status

Contact [email protected] for the status and expected completion date of your request, and for details of any records that must be retained, why, and for how long. Sending an email is a request, not confirmation that deletion is complete.
